1,000 Lockers
A school has 1,000 lockers and 1,000 students. The Lockers are arragned in sequence. One day a teacher asks the students to perform an activity. Student #1 will touch every one of the 1,000 lockers and open them. Student #2 will touch only every other locker starting with the second one and close every one she touches. Student Three touches evry third locker starting with the third. If it is open he closes it . If it is closed he opens it. Student #4 touches every fourth locker starting with the fourth. If it is open she closes it . If it is closed she opens it. Each subsequent student participates in the activity, 1000 students each touch the appropriate lockers.How many lockers are open. Which lockers are left open.
